From Duke’s Drive, Monton 

Salford has some great walking routes and this walk will show you one way to join up the canal towpath and the neighbouring looplines as a circular walk. There are short lengths along roads but long stretches of the walk are entirely traffic free. On this circular walk of approximately  7.5 miles we will follow the Bridgewater Canal towpath from Duke's Drive in Monton, through Worsley to Boothstown. From there we leave the canal and walk up to join the Tyldesley Loopline which we follow back to our starting point.
